My Resources to Help a Healthy Soul

The most important aspects to help create a healthy soul all have to do with devotion to God and what His word calls us to do:

Time in God's Word, as is, in context & complete.

Mindful praise and worship, in attitude and action.

Lots of prayer time and resting in Him.

Fellowship with like minded believers, growing & learning in the Word.

There's a saying, " Garbage In, Garbage Out ". I'm careful with what my eyes see & what my ears hear. It's important, to me, to have friends that build me up in scripture, walk alongside me in truth & lovingly hold me accountable.

The world has a strong pull & I never want it to be stronger than God's Truths. It takes an intentional commitment & growth is a life long thing. I pray you know him as your Lord. He is my Rock & my Comforter. There is no peace aside from Christ. I know because I tried. I am eternally grateful for His sacrifice & daily grace.

One of my favorite verses is Ephesians 3:14-20.

"For this reason I kneel before the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power in your inner being through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us— to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

I have lots of favorites that I feed my soul with! First & foremost is the Bible, of course!

I love Proverbs 31 Ministries & I start my day with their daily devotional.

It's important to worship at a solid bible teaching church. What's popular isn't always what's best for the soul.

There are tons of solid resources available. Here are a few:

I am a HUGE Praise & Worship fan. There's something about music that speaks right to my soul. Check out my healthy resources page for my favorite worship songs, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
