All For Your Face

Your face is one of the parts that makes "you". Shouldn't we treat it with extra special love and care?

Lots of store bought skin products contain harmful chemicals, hormones, and loads of toxins, not exactly something I would want on my face!

It's always best to go with organic items, but those can be pricey and my even have things in them that you can't even pronounce. I like it when I know and can pronounce all the ingredients in my facial products :) That's where DIYs come in!





DIY Gentle Skin Toner


  • 4 oz Amber Glass bottle

  • 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil

  • 5 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

  • 3 drops Cypress Essential Oil

  • 3 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil

  • Organic Witch Hazel

  • 1 tsp Calendula Hydrosol


  1. Add essential oils & calendula to bottle. Add enough witch hazel to reach just below the neck of bottle.

  2. Shake before use. Apply to clean skin with an organic cotton ball.


Detox Clay Mask


  • 1 Tbsp green clay

  • ½ Tbsp ground organic oats

  • 1 drop Frankincense Essential Oil

  • 1 drop Lavender Essential Oil


  1. Combine all ingredients with a wooden spoon (clay pulls toxins from metals) & add tsp warm water to make a thick paste.

  2. Apply to face & let dry. Rinse off with warm water & pat dry.


Exfoliating Mask


  • 2 Tbsp baking soda

  • 2 tbsp ground oats

  • 2 Tbsp raw honey

  • 5 drops essential oil of choice

  • Enough water to create mask consistency


  1. Mix everything together & apply to a clean face (pre wash with thieves hand soap)

  2. Massage mask on in circular motion gently for about 5 min, avoiding delicate eye area.

  3. Let sit on face for about 3 more min & rinse off with warm water & pat dry


DIY Pore Serum


  • 1 Tbsp organic avocado oil

  • 1 Tbsp organic jojoba oil

  • 6 drops Frankincense essential oil

  • 6 drops Cedarwood essential oil

  • 6 drops Myrtle essential oil


Store ingredients in a small glass amber bottle. Apply to pores at night.


So how does it cleanse and clean?

When you use plant based products, the plants already carry antibacterial properties, pretty amazing right? When you stick to plant based items, you get to tap into the amazing bacteria killing, fungi destroying, parasite eliminating, and anti-microbial benefits. That's why it's important to know your ingredients and get them in their rawest form.
